Sinter plates

Like our other high-purity aluminum oxide sinter plates, our Keralpor Ultra is characterised by its low heat capacity. This means that the energy consumption of the kiln is significantly lower when using Keralpor Ultra compared to conventional sinter plates and kiln furniture. The time and energy required to heat up and cool down the kiln is significantly reduced by using KERAFOL® sinter plates.

Our customers use these setters for sintering LTCC ceramics, solid oxide fuel cells, dental ceramics and for debinding and sintering metal injection molding (MIM) components.

To provide you with even more reliability in production, we have doubled the strength of Keralpor Ultra compared to Keralpor 99. The high evenness of Keralpor Ultra leads to precise sintering results. Due to the high porosity of the aluminum oxide matrix, the debinding gases can freely diffuse through the porous sinter plate during the debinding and sintering processes. You will clearly notice this in your yields. There is no adhesion on the setter during the debinding process.

Keralpor 99 is ideal for use as a sinter plate in your silicon carbide, mullite, corundum and molybdenum kiln-furniture.

All sizes up to 310 x 310 mm are available in thicknesses of 1.5 mm.
